Our vision at One of a Kind  is to provide a platform where teens can flourish through bible study, prayer, workshops, retreats and camps learning life skills, healing and find a deeper purpose and love for Christ.

I started this ministry because I am passionate about teens, young adults and families knowing their true purpose and identity in Christ. It is whose we are, not who we are. It doesn't matter where we come from, what we have done, or our past-  we serve a God that has been the same yesterday today and tomorrow Hebrew 18:5 and we are not meant to carry the burdens of others sins  or our own. My passion comes from the impact that my own youth leader had in my life while dealing with hurt, loss, abandonment and chaos as a teen and young adult. I believe so strongly in providing a place for teens to grow in their faith and provide real and tangible ways for them to learn valuable skills in building a firm foundation in Christ and their purpose.  My childhood story is my  God story. He carried  me and picked me up from the rubble of a self destructive childhood filled with parents addiction, divorce, abandonment, loneliness and fear. This is my chapter 2 living a life realigned with God's purpose for me and no longer living a life dictated by corporate America and protocol. If I can be for 1 what my youth leader was for me then I have served my purpose. 

One of a kind - worthy known and loved - a star (logo) . It was the Bethlehem star that was over our Savior's birth and it is what guides us to look up and see true north. Each star is beautiful and unique- bright and shiny- just as each of us is. 

Pouring into the next generation so that they know their own worth, purpose and identity - and you have one right now- we need to stop being driven by society standards and live to our higher purpose. Building a firm foundation knowing we are worthy, known and loved by an amazing God.
